A date with food :(

Posted in Group:

I'm going out today with a few of my friends in what seems like an eternity.
I'm really excited about hanging out with them since we don't really see eachother all that much anymore due to school and work. But i also want to bail, we're going to a buffet.
The last thing I want to do is have a mini panic, anger attack from all that food laying around...
It feels like most of the time we hang out is to go eat, but I feel like I ruin the mood with their constant checking if my plate is still full or how long i've been chewing the same piece.
Should I even go?
it's so annoying that i have to worry about all this and i can't even hang out with my friends without worrying them. Maybe I shouldn't go at all....What do you guys think?

I can so relate to this. My friends also like to go out to eat for our outings. I found that I had to be more proactive with my friends in the sense of suggesting none food outings sometimes. It's a little bit of give and take. I wouldn't bail today. Just try to have fun and if you can plan ahead it may help.

Just Breathe...
