recovery gone wrong ..#2

Posted in Group:

this is my second post on the subject of my ED and i honestly thought i was getting better because i felt happier and started eating better but today it kind of spiraled down....my dad had told me that i had issues and that i'm misarable and ddont enjoy life and that i'm gonna die young....it pissed me off and i didn't want to eat again ....at all....my parents don't understand that it's a problem i have they just yell that i'm being selfish and making everyone else misarable and run arounf because my mom needs to take me to a doctor and a social worker once a week , it's not my fault ! but they don't get it , and the more they yell the more they get angry at me then the more i get angry at me and then i hate myself and don't want to eat also this summer my dad called me the fattest of his family and we mostly aren't too skinny and now he says that i look sick theres no pleasing them ! and it makes me worse what am i supposed to do ?.......

I so sorry your father made you feel that way. ED is no game. when you think you have everything under control something happens and take you back 6 steps. i have face this over and over and it has taken me to points where i said f*** it all. It is a forever ending battle but you can do it. You father might just was upset and wanted to take it out on you. Whatever his reasons was dont let it push you further back in your recovery. My name is Monica and I have ED to. If you want to talk I am here for you.

hugs
Monica
